Extra Credit Opportunity #1
October 21, 2007
We have begun to analyze motion using logger pro. Currently, all of the
movies we analyze are non-local. Your challenge, if you choose to
accept it, is to make tiny movies in the Bay Area that we can analyze.
Here are the guidelines to making the movies:
- The movies should not be longer than 30 seconds to keep the file sizes manageable.
- The
camera should be stationary during the whole movie. This means use
either use a tripod or some other stable surface to place the camera on. - There are 3 categories that are needed: uniform motion, non-uniform motion and trajectory motion.
- Movies must be in quicktime format and turned in on a disc.
- You will receive up to 20 points if the movie is formatted correctly and contains useable footage.
