Meritus College Fund will be at Galileo to help guide students in the scholarship application process on Tuesday, December 1 after school.
Come to the information meeting in the College & Career Center after school to find out what you need to include on the application and what the eligibility guidelines are for the program.

Come to College Workshop Nights (dates below) to get help filling out all of your college applications: CSU, UC, Private school, as well as scholarship essays! Turn in your applications early, and ask for help early! Students who attend the workshops will be entered to a raffle for educational prizes! Remember, the DEADLINE for UC/CSU is November 30, for private schools it varies (check with your college advisor or on the school website).

First reminder to all seniors, the CSU/UC application deadline is November 30, please work on your application early and get help from the college advisors.
THE LAST SENIOR PORTRAIT:make-up days will be Dec. 7 – 10 after school in the auditorium.

Congratulations to the Mighty Lions on their victory over Lowell on Thursday! With this win, Galileo advances to the annual CIF AAA/SF Turkey Day Championship game.
The game is on Thursday, November 26 at Kezar Stadium in Golden Gate Park starting at 11:00 am. Join us with your families and friends.

Autumn Ball Saturday

Autumn Ball and Karaoke at the Hyatt at Fisherman’s Wharf on Saturday, November 21 from 7:00 – 11:00 pm. Dress is semi-formal.
Tickets are on sale at the ASB office. Prices include and unlimited drinks and chocolate fondue desserts until we run out. First 200 will get a five-color glow necklace. Photography and photo key tags by Prestige.
Football Playoffs Thursday

Galileo is proud to host the CIF AAA/SF Section Varsity Football playoffs at our beautiful new George White Field on Thursday, November 19. Come support the Mighty Lions against Lowell!
All adults will be charged $5 and all students will be charged $3. The game kicks off at 2:00pm with the winners advancing to the annual Turkey Day Championship on Thursday, November 26 at Kezar Stadium.
