ATTENDANCE: Teachers– Please check your Galileo e-mail for Attendance Notices. Most importantly, Notice of Missing Attendance will be sent to all teachers via e-mail who have failed to turn in attendance strips by 4:00 pm the previous day. Please turn in the attendance strip or reply with the names of absent students so that your non-recorded attendance can be cleared. Thank You. Ms. Mallen.

Please do not block other cars in both the Bay Street and the Polk Street parking lots. If you have to block a car, do it only for a few minutes and leave your Galileo Parking Hanger in plain sight in your car. If you do not have a Galileo Parking Hanger, see Bettie Grinnell in the Main Office.
GALILEO PTSA EDUCATION AND ENRICHMENT GRANT APPLICATIONS: The Galileo PTSA is accepting Grant Applications from teachers and staff in need of funding for projects, equipment and/or supplies. We urge staff to apply for these grants as last year we did not use all of our budgeted money. CASH FOR COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP: Thursday, February 2, 5:30-8 PM at Galileo Library. Parents and students are invited to learn more about financial-aid, FAFSA, and scholarship options.
All students who attend and fill-out a survey afterwards have a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship. Light food will be served. Spanish and Chinese translation will be available.

MOC ACT PRACTICE: Anyone interested in taking the Mock ACT to practice for the real ACT, please see Ms. Marshman in the Counseling Office. Deadline to register is February 3rd. The test will be held afterschool at Galileo on February 8th.

GALILEO TECH CLUB: is looking for students to join their team for the “Pioneers in Engineering” robotics competition at UC Berkeley.
