THE WELLNESS CENTER: is here to help students who are stressed out during finals or need extra support before the holidays. If you are concerned about any students don’t hesitate to fill out a Wellness referral or send students to our on call Wellness counselor of the day!
Galileo PTSA Education/Enrichment Grants Application Procedures Update:
Please submit your applications 3 weeks before the following General PTSA meetings:
Jan. 8, 2014, March 12, 2014 and April 9, 2014. This will give the Grants Committee members time to review and then make recommendations for voting at the above listed General PTSA meetings. If you have to block a car, do it only for a few minutes and leave your Galileo Parking Hanger in plain sight in your car. PTSA Meeting and College Finance Workshop

James Lee and Dickson Lo will present a workshop on:
“College Financial Planning – Discover new ways to pay for college and attend college for less”
For parents who are currently involved in the college application process and parents who are still a few years away from the process

ASB STORE in Room 150 is selling healthy snacks, beverages, sweatshirts, new drawstring day packs, hand towels, lanyards, bookcovers, pens, pennants, mugs, and other spirit items during lunch time and after school. Money helps to pay for our school activities.
ASB STORE is selling ASB card stickers @ $5.00. Discounts are given for dances, sweatshirts, yearbook, and other spirit items.
ARE YOU STRESSED? Having a hard time adjusting back to school? Having issues in your friendships or relationships? Just need someone to talk to? Come to the Wellness Program in Room 151. It’s free, private and if you are looking for someone to listen we are here!
ARE YOU FEELING STRESSED OUT WITH FINALS OR WITH THE HOLIDAYS APPROACHING? The Wellness Center has resources to help you chill out and get support. There are people to talk to, relaxing tea to drink, and comfy couches for studying or taking a break. Come visit us in Room 151 if you need support during the last weeks of this semester!
CONGRATULATIONS to Galileo Lion, Christopher Pang, who won a prize in a city wide anti bullying video competition! We are so proud of Christopher and the excellent and creative work he did to teach others about bullying and it’s negative effects on teens.
