Galileo PTSA Education/Enrichment Grants Application Procedures Update:
Please submit your applications 3 weeks before the following General PTSA meetings:
March 12, 2014 and April 9, 2014. This will give the Grants Committee members time to review and then make recommendations for voting at the above listed General PTSA meetings. PARKING COURTESY: Please do not block other cars in both the Bay Street and the Polk Street parking lots. If you have to block a car, do it only for a few minutes and leave your Galileo Parking Hanger in plain sight in your car. ASB STORE in Room 150 is selling healthy snacks, beverages, sweatshirts, new drawstring day packs, hand towels, lanyards, bookcovers, pens, pennants, mugs, and other spirit items during lunch time and after school. Money helps to pay for our school activities.
ASB STORE is selling ASB card stickers @ $5.00. Discounts are given for dances, sweatshirts, yearbook, and other spirit items.
LETTERMAN JACKETS will be on sale Tuesday, Feb.4 in front of the auditorium during lunch time. Free embroidery – “T-Day Champ 2013” for football players..

LUNAR NEW YEAR CLASSROOM DECORATING CONTEST: is Thursday, Feb. 6th. All clubs and classes can participate. 1st prize is pizza partty, 2nd prize is Snapple fruit juice cans for participants, and healthy snack bags for participants. Deadline to turn in your application to participate is Feb. 4 to ASB office.
LION DANCING: will perform on Friday, Feb.7 in the courtyard during lunch time. Galileo students performed on national TV, America’s Got Talent and reached the quarter finals last year. The performance is to celebrate the new year 2014 and to celebrate the scientist, Galileo’s birthday.
BOAT DANCE: is Saturday night, March 15.
WANT TO PROTECT YOURSELF? The Wellness Center gives out free condoms to students- just come by the Wellness Center to see Jessica or go to the Nurses office to see Nurse Kitchell to get them. If you have other questions about birth control, sex, STD’s, or how to get tested come see Naomi, Jessica or Nurse Kitchell in the Wellness Center. It’s always free and confidential!
