PARKING COURTESY:  Please do not block other cars in both the Bay Street and the Polk Street parking lots.  If you have to block a car, do it only for a few minutes and leave your Galileo Parking Hanger in plain sight in your car.  If you do not have a Galileo Parking Hanger, see Bettie Grinnell in the Main Office.                                       Mrs. Grinnell


ASB STORE is selling sweatshirts, lanyards, towels, beverages, and healthy snacks in room 150 during lunch time and after school.


ASB CARD STICKERS are sold in room 150 @ $5.00. You will get a free Galileo purple pen and planner. Limited supplies.

HALLOWEEN DRESS-UP CONTEST: is Fri., Oct. 31 in the courtyard during lunch time. Prizes will be offered.


HARVEST FOOD FESTIVAL: is Friday, Nov. 21. Clubs must attend the Executive Student Council meetings every Monday in room 153 at 3:15 PM for details.


WINTER BALL: is Saturday, Nov.22 at Hyatt Hotel, Fisherman’s Wharf from 7 – 11 PM. Dress is semi-formal.There will be both dj dancing and karaoke. Free desserts and drinks. Photography by Prestige. Must bring ID with photo at the door. Doors will close at 8:30 PM.



All you have to do to get your yearbook is to:

Step1-Sign in to your galileoweb email.

Step 2-Go to search and type in “Tree ring”.

Step 3-Open up the most recent  “Tree ring” email and click the link to create an account.


If you’re having trouble logging into your galileoweb email, see Ms. Field in Rm.453 or Ms.Ly in Rm.414.


For 9th  10th 11th & 12th:

10/27 @ lunch time  RM 263         Are you interested in shadowing at UCB for 3 days and 2 nights for free?  ShadowNite is reaching out to low-income Asian & Pacific Islander students.  Please come to a short info. session

11/1 from 11am-4pm AT&T Park   Bay Area Science Festival Discovery Day is a FREE event.  Student volunteers are need as well.  For details: www.bayareascience.org

Chinatown’s YMCA is offering a low cost SAT/ACT prep class.  For details, please check email in School Loop.

For 11th:

10/29 UC Davis field trip: Min. 3.0 GPA, turn in a signed permission slip & fee waiver (in

salmon color) with a copy of the first 2 pages of 2013’s income tax return.  Pick them up in the Counseling Center.  Limited seats, 1st come 1st serve.

Turn in uAspire consent form ASAP!!! (Michael)

-All students must turn in the consent form even if you are not interested in working with a uAspire financial aid adviser

-Turn in signed consent forms to the College and Career Center either to Michael or Ms. S. Chan

-If you did not receive a consent form in the mail or during the AC101 workshop, pick one up at the College and Career Center
