CLASS ELECTION is this Thursday, April 16 during period 4. Election committee officers will distribute ballots for juniors, sophomores, and freshmen.
CHINESE KARAOKE CONTEST: is this Friday night, April 17 in the auditorium. Tickets are sold at the door.
ALOHA FOOD FESTIVAL: is Friday, May 1 in the courtyard during lunch time. Wear your favorite Hawaiian outfit.
MOVE-UP ASSEMBLY: is scheduled on Friday, May 1 at the George White’s Athletic Field

Talk to faculty and student music & dance performances, guided tours, student organizations. Free admission to the UC Botanical Garden and Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science. 5/17 9am-5pm @ Stanford University in Palo Alto If you’re 15 years old, interested in veterinary school or working with animals, check out this FREE event with lunch. Hear talks from veterinarians in various careers, talk to current veterinary students & alumni from different veterinary schools. Learn about ways to volunteer locally and get valuable experience caring for animals.

PAGE for Teens is a non-profit dedicated to helping high school students plan for their careers and futures. They coordinate shadow sessions where teens go to a professional’s workplace and get Professional Advice, Guidance, and Exposure (PAGE) about different careers, and also have the great experience of seeing what it is like to be in a cool work environment. 4/24 FRISCO Day This is a district wide college transitional support day. Students who plan to attend military, work full time, attend a community college, or really haven’t decided on what to do after high school will be going to CCSF all day. If you have not picked up a field trip permission form or returned a signed one, please pick up one from or return it to the College & Career Center ASAP. If you plan to attend a 4 year college, you will stay on campus and we will have more details for you later.
If you think you still want to apply for CCSF as an alternate college choice, please check details in School Loop or talk to Ms. S. Chan as soon as possible.
If you have been accepted to a UC and plan to enroll, please look out for the Writing Placement Exam info. in your School Loop email.
If you intend to enroll at a CSU campus, please take the placement exams ASAP. For the CSU Math and English placement exams schedule, location, and sample questions, please check your School Loop email.

Chinese American Citizens Alliance Scholarship 10-$1000 for HS Senior, Chinese ancestry min. ¼, Min cumulative GPA 3.0, Community Involvement, Must meet financial criteria; 3 ppl: 65K 4:72K 5:78K etc. Apply by 4/21/2015. Get application from the College and Career Center.
ABC7 Top Scholars $1,000 to seven local graduating seniors with a 3.5 minimum GPA. Each school can nominate up to 4 students, Must be a SF resident, Students will be profiled in stories featured in ABC7 Newscasts as well as a half hour program, Must be willing to be interviewed for television.
