Human Rights Exhibit

Each Spring Galileo Social Studies Students Put on a Human Rights Exhibit in the Galileo Library. Visitors to the Exhibit learn about incidents of genocide and human rights abuses around the world, with Social Studies students serving as docents.

WE WELCOME GALILEO’S NEW PRINICIPAL, DR. MICHAEL REIMER. He begins at Galileo officially on August 3, 2015.  We will announce events where the Galileo Family can meet and welcome Princial Reimer.  More information to follow.
FRESHMEN ORIENTATION:  Friday, August 14, 2015, at 8:30am.
FALL SEMESTER 2015: Classes begin Monday, August 17, 2015 at 8:00am.

FINAL EXAMS:  December 15, 16 and 17, 2014.  Special Schedule
FINANCIAL AID NIGHT:  Wednesday, December 17, 2015 at 5:30pm in the Galileo Cafeteria.
WINTER BREAK:  December 22, 2014 – January 2, 2015.  School will be closed.  School resumes Monday, January 5, 2014.

CLUB DAY: Friday, August 29th in the courtyard during lunchtime.  Over 40 clubs will have tables.

COLLEGE NIGHTS FOR JUNIORS AND SENIORS AND PARENTS:  Thursday, September 18 and Thursday, September 25 from 5:30pm – 8:00pm.

HOMECOMING DANCE

HOMECOMING DANCE: will be on Saturday, October 20 from 7 – 11 PM at
Hyatt Hotel Fisherman’s Wharf. Dress is semi-formal. First 200 ticket
buyers will receive a free tri-color neon necklace. The main ballroom
will have dj dancing music and the side lounge room will have dj
karaoke for the singers. Photography is by Prestige. Bring ID with
picture. Door closes at 8:30 PM. Tickets will be sold at ASB store
starting Oct. 1. Prices will be $25 with current ASB card sticker and
$30 without. Prices will go up $30 ASB and $35 w/o from Oct. 15 – 19.
Guest tickets are sold at Dean’s Office @ $35 with guest form.
