Certiprep

December 1, 2008

As you know, we are preparing for the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist PowerPoint 2007 test. Today we’ll get to look at the test preparation software and see some sample questions.  The first thing everyone will need to do is create an account, which we will do first thing in class today.

Then you can launch the Ceriprep software and use the “Learning Mode”.  The purpose of this practice is to help both you and Mr. Chun get a good idea of which topics are already easy and which topics need further study. As you do today’s assignment, you will need paper and pencil to write down:

  • 3 things you don’t know yet (specific vocabulary words, commands, or options to which the questions refer)
  • 2 tasks you figured out with help
  • 1 question you answered right away with no problem

In addition, keep track of the total number of questions you attempt, AND the number that you get right without help.  At the end of the day, write these two numbers at the bottom of the page and turn it in.

Chapter 6 Homework
