Viva la Revolucion

November 20th marks the beginning of the Mexican Revolution, historically speaking, a period of turmiol and change that spilled over into all areas of Mexican society. Amidst cries of Tierra y Libertad soldiers took to the streets. Were these heroes or criminals or both? Who were the Adelitas? Why did Gertrudis run off to join the revolution?
