Nutrition Label Mix Match: This is the game we played. Food labels tell customers the nutrition level of each food item.

Lesson 3 PowerPoint: Food Labelling: Remember manufactures are NOT your friends. Please play attention to the serving size while you are reading the nutrition label!

Macronutrients: Remember macronutrients are proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Be sure you know their functions.  Micronutrients such as vitamins and calcium do NOT provide any energy but they contribute to health maintenance.

1. Explain the event or activity you are going to create and/or host.


2. What forms of media are you going to use to promote/advertise your event and why?


3. A timeline and responsibility/task chart with names and dates.


4. A list of additional resources needed. Examples: video camera, money for ingredients, etc.
