Homeostatic Mechanism (Calcium “Ca2+”) This is the handout that shows how the body responds to an increase or decrease in blood calcium levels.Step by step – you should be able to fill in (and understand) each step in the diagram.
For example, what endocrine gland is stimulated when there is a drop in the amount of Ca2+ in the blood. What hormone is release. What organs are stimulated to work by the hormone.
