Over Spring Break draw a series of pictures to show “HOW SOMETHING WORKS.” You can choose your own subject: How does pedaling a bicycle make the wheels turn? How do you make chocolate chip cookies? How does pressing a key on a keyboard make the letter “A” appear on the screen?
Go to the website howstuffworks.com for ideas and inspiration.
When you return to class you will take the series of drawings you created and turn it into a Flash animation showing HOW SOMETHING WORKS.

- Your Portfolio Website
- You have a folder named 2lastnameweb08 (or 3lastnameweb08 or 5lastnameweb08) the only items in this folder will be HTML pages
- Inside your web08 folder you have a folder named images; the only items in images folder will be JPGs and GIFs
- You will create an HTML page called index.html; this will be the main page of your portfolio website
- This page will be built with table cells; it will include stylesheets; and it will display all Photoshop projects you’ve worked on and link to all HTML exercises you’ve done in class.
