Animate Design Principles

Mr. Machtay will show you examples of different design principles. You will use Flash to create an animation that begins with one design principle on display and animates so that it ends with the opposite design principle displayed.

The principles are:

DO NOT simply create abstract shapes moving around the screen — that’s too simple. Your animation must include an actual scene. Can you tell a story while moving from Harmony to Contrast? Can you create objects that would convey Unity to Variety?

Make your completed animation at least 180 frames long. And make sure when you have “set a scene” that you give viewers a chance to actually look at it before it disappears!
