CHRONICLE THE TIMES!
You are living through unusual times, having experiences unique in Modern American History.
Your Digital Communication/Computer Art classes are about learning COMMUNICATION SKILLS. They’re also an opportunity for you to share your view of the world, of your community, and of yourself.
YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED INITIAL ASSIGNMENTS:
Computer Art 1 (due March 23rd): http://galileoweb.org/machtayh/2020/03/13/illustrate-a-poem/

CHRONICLE YOUR TIMES
THINK ABOUT THIS… Imagine it’s 2070 and you’re telling your grandchildren about the time of Covid-19, which just happened to be your Senior year of high school (or Junior year or… etc.). What images would you want them to see? What stories would you want to share with them? COMBINE IMAGES & WORDS!
VIDEO STUDENTS (5th & 6th periods): Use your phone cameras to get video footage and stills of what you see in your home and around town. How are you living now? What’s your neighborhood like? How have things changed?
Create a short video. Most of you don’t have access to Premiere Pro, see if you have a computer with iMovie (or the PC version). If not that, create some sort of slideshow.
(DUE APRIL 14TH)
COMPUTER ART STUDENTS (2nd & 3rd periods): Take pictures with your phones and put together a slide show or a “zine” of sorts — whatever format is most comfortable for you at this time. Much like the Video Students, combine images and words to tell a story (of your own choosing) about what it’s like being a high school student during the time of Covid-19.
(DUE APRIL 14TH)
YOU CAN HAND IN WORK TO GOOGLE CLASSROOM. You’ve received a separate assignment with Google Classroom Instructions.
