AP Stats Summer Homework

While I’m sure your really happy to have a summer homework assignment :-) , it will allow us to get moving when class starts when we return, giving us more time to review later in the year.  The class is fast paced, so getting some of the introductory stuff done on your own only helps free up more time when we go over harder material.  Take it easy, don’t get too stressed over it.

Most of it is getting acquainted with some functions on your calculator.  IF YOU BUY A NEW CALCULATOR, SAVE THE UPC CODE FOR EXTRA CREDIT.  If you buy one spend a little more and get the 84+ silver edition, its worth it.  Make sure you bring your calculator to class, we will be using them starting on the first day.

For extra credit, you can read How to lie with Statistics or Damned Lies and Statistics:Untangling Numbers from the Media, Politicians and Activists, and complete the questions on the attached worksheets.  Pick one or the other, DO NOT pick both!
