The PTSA is sponsoring a fundraiser to create a Galileo High School Recipe book.
So we have two challenges:
1st Challenge – Create a recipe book of the foods Galileo students love. Add a few extra special ingredients: perfect cover page, tastiest recipes (5 categories: breakfast, lunch, supper, dessert and ‘feed 4 for $10’). We want a great cover for the book. We want all to send in their entries for the best cover ever and category clip art – the reward (everything is going back to you and your teachers) – is your cover published with your name on 100+ books (also cover contest winner gets $25 Macy’s gift card). Your entry will be reviewed by the PTSA and 50 recipes will be selected. Please have your entry in by October 5th. You will be notified by October 19 if your recipe will be in the book.
2nd Challenge – Create the book signing event. Do you watch all those shows on TV and think ‘I could do this”. Fill out the form below to find your “Iron Chef’ or “Apprentice” creativity. We need an event to promote the book. We need students to plan on the theme of the event and then plan on selling the book. Premise: 10 tables; 10 students’ recipe (made for 10+) will be served to parents and students; no pressure; and name credit in the Galileo High School Recipe Book). The Event will take place first week of December.
