CS Ed Day Field Trip Details

Posted: November 20, 2012

We will be attending Computer Science Education Day at UC Berkeley on Tuesday, December 4th.

One important note: Don’t bring a backpack! They’re feeding us lunch, so you won’t need to bring anything. Here are some more details about the trip.

Arrival:

Meet at the Downtown Berkeley BART station between 8:00 and 8:30 am. That means you need to take a train leaving SF sometime between 7:15 and 8:00 am, depending on your exact station. Use the BART web site to plan your trip and don’t be late. You need to arrive no later than 8:30 AM at the main fare gate inside the Downtown Berkeley BART station. The fare gate is near the Center and Shattuck exit and is one level up from the train platform. Check in with me when you arrive. If you do not see me, look for the “CS Ed Day” sign. Here is the map of Downtown Berkeley Station: http://www.bart.gov/stations/dbrk/map.aspx

Registration:

We will walk to the Sibley Auditorium (20-minute walk across campus). When we arrive at Sibley Auditorium, you will need to obtain name badges and turn in the photo release form.

Leaving:

When the event finishes, I will bring you back to the Downtown Berkeley BART station, where you will leave.
