WHAT IS ONE QUESTION THAT YOU HAD WHEN YOU FIRST ARRIVED AT GALILEO ??

Q. Where do we go to eat lunch?

A. Anywhere! The courtyard, the cafeteria, the Wellness Center, even some teachers keep their classrooms open during lunch.

Q. How do I get a locker?

A. You can buy a locker at the ASB store on the first floor (Rm 150).

Q. When does school start and end?

A. School starts at 8am and ends at 3:10pm. Tuesdays we get out at 1pm.

Q. What do you do when you can’t find one of your classes? This school is so big!

A. Ask teachers in the hallway,upper class-men, security guards, someone in the main office. You’ll get used to it – they won’t bite you!

Q. What is homeroom and how do I know where my homeroom classroom is?

A. Homeroom is a 20 minute period on Wednesday and Thursdays where you get to watch GHouse TV, find out what’s going on at school, etc.  Look on your schedule under HR and go to this classroom #.

Q. If there’s a mistake in my schedule, will I be able to switch classes or get into the class I want?

A. It depends. Usually, yes! Schedule changes all happen during the first week of school in the Counseling Office (Rm 157)

Q. What is Freshmen Friday? I was scared and didn’t know what was going to happen.

A. Well that day came and nothing even happened. I think there is no such thing!

Q. Is high school going to be hard?

A. Yes, it’s hard, especially when you get bad grades and have to make them up – but it’s fun too!

Q. Am I going to have a good time at Galileo?

A. Yes, you are going to have a good time as long as you don’t stress out and enjoy yourself.
